Welcome to St. John’s!

Parking is Easy…

We have a gravel parking lot that surrounds the church with easy access from and to lightly-travelled Pusheta Road.

What to Expect When You Arrive…

If you’ve contacted Pastor Klingbeil to let him know you’ll be visiting, we’ll be expecting you and one of our Sunday hosts in the Narthex will greet you by name and provide you with a Sunday bulletin to help you follow the Divine Service. If you visit without having called our pastor, we’ll make you feel just as welcome. But please pause for a moment and sign our guestbook. Our hosts will happily answer any questions you might have and will make certain you receive a bulletin.

Where to Sit…

You are welcome to sit anywhere, and we encourage you to sit next to someone else. It helps if you can glance over at your neighbor’s hymnal in order to stay on the right page. 😊

Singing Hymns…

Hymn numbers corresponding to the Lutheran Service Book (located on the backs of the pews) are posted on the wall adjacent to the altar for each Sunday’s service. We encourage you to sing along if you can. We love to lift our voices up in praise of our Lord.

Sunday Bulletin…

Each Sunday our weekly hosts will distribute the church bulletin to everyone upon arrival in the narthex to help the congregation follow along, step by step, with that day’s service. Please let your host know if you need a large print version of the Sunday bulletin – we have them available!

IMG_3178Communion…

We offer Communion each Sunday. If you are visiting our church for the first time, please talk to the pastor about receiving communion and he will provide you with the information you need regarding this Holy Sacrament.
